Come and be part of a new community and conversation at TEDxAlmansorPark 2019! The March 30 event was held in Pasadena, California, but our community is global. Our inaugural event theme of “Bridging Gaps” was motivated by the desire to build deeper connections between people and the ideas, organizations, communities and cultures they create. Every TEDx has a story and ours has only just begun!
MARCH 30 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The full day event featured a lineup of fantastic speakers and a chance to share ideas and network with fellow participants. There was also access to a photo booth for attendees to make lasting memories of attending a TEDx event.

Bill Wong, OTD, OTR/L | Curator
Bill has been a licensed occupational therapist in California since 2012. He graduated from Alhambra High School in 2003. He received his bachelor’s degree in Statistics from University of California (2007), Riverside and his masters and clinical doctorate degrees in occupational therapy from University of Southern California (2011 and 2013, respectively). Bill is an active member in the occupational therapy community, as he is currently serving as 1 of 2 Representatives from California in the Representative Assembly of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
